HOW TO USE GASTROPREP EQ™
Suggested Use: For pre-event or shipping, administer 30cc to 60cc 1 hour prior to event or transport. Effects begin immediately and last up to 8 hours. For horses in distress, administer 60cc.* Repeat in 90 minutes if conditions persist. Flows best at room temperature.
Tips for Best Results: GastroPrep EQ™ is great to use alongside UlcerGard® and GastroGard® (medications that your vet may prescribe). GastroPrep EQ™ may be used continually afterwards to maintain digestive support.

We use the Gastroprep EQ when we go to barrel races. It is the most effective pre-performane gastro paste I have used that works and keep my horses comfortable! We never leave to a race without it!

Give a tube before trailering to avoid travel diarrhea and tummy upset. Works great.
I have used GastroPrep EQ when my horse first showed discomfort from a gastric ulcer and it provided him quick pain relief. I now use GastroPrep EQ (as well as omeprazole) to help him recover from the gastric ulcer, by giving it before I ride. We're able to complete a full dressage work-out without the ulcer becoming painful. I feel that the GastroPrep helps coat his gi tract, acting as a protectant, and also as a lubricant. I like to keep a tube of GastroPrep EQ at the barn, because it offers quick relief, a bit like oral mineral oil, if ever needed.
We use gastrprep along with sane and sound Max and Prime when we are showing. It keeps my horses tummy feeling good so he feels great focused and does great in the show pen! I highly recommend this item along with the other items I mentioned.
Don't make the mistake of thinking GastroPrep EQ is just for performance horses with ulcers--this tube of probiotics and prebiotics came in very handy when my retired senior gelding was on a lot of gut-disrupting antibiotics post-surgery. Within a day of administering a syringe of GastroPrep, his manure was firmer and he seemed less uncomfortable over all. I like to keep a few tubes on hand around the barn for those inevitable "is he feeling okay?" days when something seems not quite right about a horse's intestinal comfort. Horse people know what I'm talking about! Great product.
I have a horse that has has 2 small bowel resections, resulting in her loosing 65 feet of her small bowel..After recovering from that she had chronic colic issues from adhesions from surgery site, gastric ulcers, malabsportion, and motility issues...After a long road to recovery...I found this! First time in years...my mare has had almost zero issues with ulcers...no colic..and is back in full work! Besides the daily GastroEase EQ...we supplement with the paste for travel and the Sane and Sound paste...It is a wonder! Can't recommend it enough!!!!

The GastroEase EQ line has been a godsend for my horse, Dutch. I began using the supplement upon recommendation of my trainer, Katie Hiller, after months of worsening gastro/hindgut upset. We saw substantial improvement in hindgut activity within a few days, and an incredible change in his sensitivity to touch, attitude, and anxiety issues within a week.
