Jim Toon Bio

James “Jim” Toon, owner of JT Farm, oversees the education of all the students and horses at the farm. His extensive horse show experience as a rider and the keen eye he’s developed as a USEF R-rated judge enable him to customize the training program for each rider and horse to help them achieve their best in the show ring.

Jim and his students have been champion or reserve at most major horse shows on the East Coast, including The Pennsylvania National Horse Show, The Washington International Horse Show, The National Horse Show, The Devon Horse Show, The Capital Challenge Horse Show, The Winter Equestrian Festival, Fairfield, Ox Ridge, Lake Placid, The Hampton Classic, The North Fork Classic, Old Salem Charity and Vermont Summer Festival.

Always in demand as a judge, Jim has presided at horse shows from Florida to Oregon, California to Maine, and in Canada including The USEF Medal Finals, The ASPCA Maclay Finals, Zone 1 and Zone 2 Maclay Regionals, The Southeast Regionals, The New England Equitation Championships, The Rhode Island Medal Finals and the New Hampshire Medal Finals, The Hampton Classic, The Winter Equestrian Festival, HITS Coachella and HITS Ocala.
