The above ingredients are commonly flagged by equine regulatory bodies such as the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) for their potential to infringe on competition guidelines.
While not published on the currently available list, L-Theanine has been confirmed as prohibited under USEF guidelines by USEF representatives.
α-Casozepine is a peptide derived from casein that exists in casein products, and is currently prohibited under both USEF and FEI prohibited substances guidelines.
Passionflower is expressly prohibited by both USEF and FEI.
