EquiBlok™ delivers a proprietary blend of amino acids that are known to provide a release of endorphins. Endorphins have been shown in studies to relieve pain and improve mood. The ingredients are administered in a carrier made of a proprietary blend of plant/fruit butters and cellulose, combined with ingredients to facilitate rapid absorption through the digestive mucosa.

How To Administer: Remove plastic outer casing. Using gloves, apply a small amount of Vaseline to lubricate the rectum, similar to preparing for taking a rectal temperature. Simply insert bullet shaped suppository nose-first into the rectum using gloved forefinger to advance past the rectal muscle. Monitor horse for a few minutes as absorption begins to be sure suppository is not discharged with manure. Absorption is usually accomplished within 15-20 minutes.

Pre-Event Use: Administer 1 suppository per 24 hours beginning 2 days prior to event. May continue as needed through event. Results of each suppository last up to 48 hours.

Maintenance Use: Load with 1 suppository per 24 hours for 3 days. Cumulative results last up to 5 days after last application.
