HOW TO USE GASTROPREP EQ™
Suggested Use: For pre-event or shipping, administer 30cc to 60cc 1 hour prior to event or transport. Effects begin immediately and last up to 8 hours. For horses in distress, administer 60cc.* Repeat in 90 minutes if conditions persist. Flows best at room temperature.

Gave to my mare an hour before her meal to neutralize the acid in her stomach to get her eating again. Using in conjunction with GastroEase powder and another liquid hyalauronic acid/beta glucan product. We’re on the third day of this protocol and seeing great improvement in her comfort level and willingness to eat.

I was looking for a natural supplement to give my horse who has been battling severe ulcers As I took him off of omeprazole regiment. My vet did not want my Horse on omeprazole long-term. I have a very picky, eater and supplements that were fed to him either were not working or he would stop eating them. That being said since giving my horse gastroprep paste, he has been eating significantly better and his demeanor has improved. I have therefore started giving him a maintenance dose every day at 15 cc along with his sucralfate And he has continued to improve. This will now always be in our program. So thankful for this product and how much it has helped my horse.

Give a tube before trailering to avoid travel diarrhea and tummy upset. Works great.
I have used GastroPrep EQ when my horse first showed discomfort from a gastric ulcer and it provided him quick pain relief. I now use GastroPrep EQ (as well as omeprazole) to help him recover from the gastric ulcer, by giving it before I ride. We're able to complete a full dressage work-out without the ulcer becoming painful. I feel that the GastroPrep helps coat his gi tract, acting as a protectant, and also as a lubricant. I like to keep a tube of GastroPrep EQ at the barn, because it offers quick relief, a bit like oral mineral oil, if ever needed.
We use gastrprep along with sane and sound Max and Prime when we are showing. It keeps my horses tummy feeling good so he feels great focused and does great in the show pen! I highly recommend this item along with the other items I mentioned.
