I administered this to my horse as directed, half tube the evening before and then half tube in the morning prior to running a championship cross country course with a lot of terrain. He came out the following day and jumped a double clear stadium round, and felt as good as ever. While obviously I can't confirm what this supplement may have done for him on a cellular level, I can't argue with his performance!

Works very well to reduce back soreness. I had one horse on methocarbamol more often than not and was able to almost eliminate the use of that drug when we added Lactalex.
The Lactalex is a must have for your horse when competing or after strenuous work. The product aids in muscle recovery. It helps my big guy bounce back fast! The paste is convenient for fast administration, especially for the picky eater. I don't leave home without it!

I gave this to my mare the morning of our show jump round (after a couple days of showing) and she was full of energy and jumped out of her skin! I was worried she would be sore and tired from the previous days, but this product helped her bounce back and she felt great! I will now be using this regularly during competitions!
Lactalex has been one of the best products I have used! I initially received a free sample of Lactalex paste and was told that it would make my horse, who is normally very back sore, more comfortable and less stiff. After one use, I saw a significant change and my horse was able to work and not feel stiff. I didn't have to continue giving her Methocarbamol !
