HOW TO USE PERFECT PREP EQ™ GOLD PELLETS
Caution: Effects may be profound. Evaluate each individual horse’s response to this product prior to performance.
Suggested Use: Feed according to chart with AM and PM feed, with a feeding 4 hours prior to event.
For late day performances a mid-day feeding is suggested. (For maximum effect, the last feeding of Gold Pellets should fall 2 hours prior to performance time.) Effects begin after 1 feeding and peak after 4 to 6 feedings. Load for 4 to 6 feedings. Continue as needed during performance days. 1 scoop = 40 grams. 1 scoop is considered 1 dose.

Very palatable and helps my young stock deal with their first "trips to town."
My horse has been on stall rest for a tendon tear. He is an "on duty" guy during regular work so he lives on PP Training Day that has helped him relax and reduce his reactivity - I added extra during the stall rest and hand walking stage of recovery. Now we are tack walking and adding some trot work. Adding PP Gold Pellets to his daily TD has boosted his relaxation and has helped him to remain calm under saddle - no tranquilizer shots needed yet. My vet had researched the PP products and recommends them - the products are formulated to work with each other. I contacted the PP Customer Service to ask about adding the Gold Pellets and had two reps get back to me. My horse eats the product out of my hand. They also have a product specific for stall bound horses.
I have a ten year old spotted saddle horse that is super anxious at a show and hardly ever settles in. This is the only product that helps take away pre-show jitters! Four days out at the loading dose (2 scoops, 2x) and she's a totally different horse! I would have classified her as a difficult horse but she responds well to the loading dose for an average horse! Only downside is the cost. It's not economical for daily use but is well worth it!
These pellets are a lot easier to use for my horse who gets fussy with paste tubes! It works great just like the Gold Paste but my mare prefers the pellets!
