HOW TO USE PERFECT PREP EQ™ GOLD PELLETS
Caution: Effects may be profound. Evaluate each individual horse’s response to this product prior to performance.
Suggested Use: Feed according to chart with AM and PM feed, with a feeding 4 hours prior to event.
For late day performances a mid-day feeding is suggested. (For maximum effect, the last feeding of Gold Pellets should fall 2 hours prior to performance time.) Effects begin after 1 feeding and peak after 4 to 6 feedings. Load for 4 to 6 feedings. Continue as needed during performance days. 1 scoop = 40 grams. 1 scoop is considered 1 dose.

Perfect Prep has been an amazing tool in the tool box. I have a young warmblood gelding who is easily distracted... and once distracted becomes a LOT. This has really taken the edge off and allowed him to focus, but he's still all in there and has all the energy. It just seems to redirect it in more productive ways while we are getting through the training we need to be successful.

The ease and swiftness the came and how well she ate it.
We use the gold paste in our daughter's TB jumper the day before and at shows and it makes a noticeable difference! We decided to try the pellets this time as they are easier to administer (our TB is wise and difficult to dose) and may be easier in his stomach. He gets soft manure when he has the paste, so we're anxious to see how he does with the pellets. I'll update the review after we try them a couple of times.
My horse doesn't like the loading dose. So we start him 3 days early on the maintenance dose. It honestly works great. He's more relaxed in the show ring and is able to focus on what's being asked of him. We've used it at two shows so far. We didn't use any additional pastes, and he was totally fine with just the pellets. I'll be keeping these on hand for future shows for sure.
