Q: I currently use Supreme 90 minutes before I ride. How does Pro Chill compare?

 

A: Extreme and Supreme are designed to encourage calming and to create the feeling of a push ride. These pastes are quick acting and used in combination with the Calming System can help manage even the spiciest horses.

 

If you are using Supreme to create a calm, relaxed horse that is quieter than their baseline, we recommend continuing to use Supreme.

 

Pro Chill's 15cc gel allows your horse to maintain their usual responsiveness, and bring their focus back to the rider.  Like Extreme and Supreme, Pro Chill is quick acting but builds effect with repeated dosing.

Q: I currently feed Training Day+ pellets everyday. Should I use Pro Chill with it, or instead of it, for an event?

 

A: The formulas of Training Day+ pellets and Pro Chill use completely different ingredient structures. Adding Pro Chill to Training Day+ pellets will further enhance relaxation and focus.

 

We recommend trying this combination together at home to ensure that you achieve the desired response.

Q: I always use Gold paste the night before and morning of my ride. Is there a reason I would use Pro Chill instead? 

 

A: Gold paste has the most calming effect of our long acting pastes for horses requiring maximum attitude support. Sane & Sound MAX paste's triple action approach to calming also creates a significant sense of calm for an extended period. 

 

Pro Chill's small size and easy delivery make it ideal when you want a more focused, more natural horse who maintains his usual response to the rider.

Q: How is Pro Chill different from Pro Focus?

 

A: Pro Focus does not have the tendency to build with additional doses. Pro Chill’s effects stack with repeated use.

FOR BEST RESULTS

1-2 doses (1 tube = 2 doses) of Pro Chill the night before and 1-2 doses 2 hours before performance offers added compliance and relaxation.

Pro Chill can be given at 6 hour intervals through the day to maintain or increase effect.

Where size or volume of paste is an issue, small size Pro Chill offers a great alternative. 1 to 2 tubes may give the effect you need.

Remember that the effects of Pro Chill stack. The more you give over a performance schedule, the quieter a horse will become.

    Helped my anxious geldling

    I've never been able to completely get my gelding's attention in the ring. No matter what I tried, he was always looking around. Almost like he was looking for things to spook at. It actually made showing unenjoyable, as we'd work so hard at home only to be disappointed any time we were in a new environment. PRO CHILL WAS A GAME CHANGER!! It's like it took that adrenaline away, so he wasn't on such high alert. Now he feels like he does at home and we can finally show without the added anxiety! One tube the night before and 1 tube a few hours before our ride is all it takes for him to take a breath. Really happy someone recommended this!

    I've used Perfect Prep products for years and have always been pleased with the results. The only thing I did not like in the past was the volume of paste you had to give. I was anxious to try this new paste with such a small volume plus the added gastric relief. It works great and horses do not mind the taste as I've experienced in the past.     Pro Chill is Right!

    I tested this out at home on my 2 mares. Per the instructions, I gave half a tube to each mare. Out of all the calming pastes I've tried over the years, this is definitely the strongest I've used. I recommend using this paste when your horse is at their worst anxiety wise. If your horse is only mildly anxious, I'd try a different one of the Perfect Prep pastes. I'm definitely keeping this on hand!

    Pro Chill

    Used this at home and at a show and it made such a change to my very anxious mare. Testing it at home first I couldn’t believe the calming effect it achieved. Had a good result at the show but I do need to figure out the timing between administration and performance a bit better at home before my next show. Highly recommend for any horses that have a tendency to get quick. Used in conjunction with perfect prep pre-event calming guidance. Thank you Perfect Prep team for creating another great show safe tool

    Great effect - doesn't slow my horse down but helps with distractions. The gel is easy to give and my horse doesn't mind it.
