HOW TO USE PERFECT PREP EQ™ SANE & SOUND PELLETS
Caution: Effects may be profound. Evaluate each individual horse’s response to this product prior to performance.
Suggested Use: Feed 2 scoops (80g) with AM and PM feed, with a feeding 4 hours prior to event. For late day performances a mid-day feeding is suggested. Effects begin after 1 feeding and peak after 4 to 6 feedings. Continue as needed during performance days. 1 scoop = 40 grams. 1 scoop is considered 1 dose.

And oftentimes horses will be a little nervous because they have a little bit of pain somewhere or maybe they have a little stiffness. For me, this is the product that I've really gone to, as far as pellets go, for my jumpers.

I have used Perfect Prep pastes in the past with great success, but never the pellets so I figured I’d give them a try. I gave my horse the pellets the night before and day of our move, and for him they worked even better than the paste! I continued feeding these pellets morning and night for the first few days my horse was in his new home, and I feel they helped him tremendously with the adjustment period. I will definitely be keeping these on hand to use during any stress-inducing situations in the future!

I am thrilled with Sane and Sound Pellets for my girl! She is a total doll on the ground, sweet and kind, but frequently questions my authority undersaddle. In the past, I could equate her misbehavior to physical/hormonal/maturing issues (she's 6), but recently, she is completely comfortable, understands our roles as partners and still tried to throw her weight around, sometimes quite literally. I tested a single tube of Sane and Sound paste on her to see how it would affect her and was thrilled to find her suddenly sweet, willing, and happy to do whatever I asked (which is always very reasonable and within her abilities). What an amazing difference this product has made in my horse! Used in conjunction with altrenogest, he’s calmer and more focused so we can actually progress in our training.
We've tried everything and the combination of this and inject-able regumate finally gave us a horse we could show.
Very pleased with the results. It was the first time my son showed his pony in large green ponies. We used it along with Perfect Prep Gold and the pony stayed relaxed and listened even over the larger jumps. We will definitely continue to use Sane and Sound.
A move to a new facility was traumatic for my gelding and it was almost impossible for the new farrier to trim him. My new owner recommended Sane and Sound and he was like a different horse - a “perfect gentleman” for the farrier.
I have tried a lot of calming supplements on my buddy sour horse, but they all made him "dull" and sort of lifeless when I rode. Sane & Sound worked wonders! I started feeding two days before we traveled and kept him on the recommended twice daily dosage for the whole clinic weekend. My horse showed improvement each day in how he handled his buddy leaving him, going from his usual screaming/pacing, to calmly munching on his hay and not caring that he was left alone. The best part is I had a horse who was still his usual self in the arena. This has definitely become my go-to calming supplement!
I bought this product to use when I am hauling my horse to shows. He gets nervous about new places. I start giving him this about 4 days before and then he will get a dose at the show to settle in. I have noticed a big difference in his attitude.
