HOW CANINE CALMING PASTE WORKS
Perfect Prep PET™ Canine Calming offers prompt, natural calming support. It is ideal for dogs exhibiting signs of anxiety, nervousness and tension due to specific events (separation anxiety, car rides, fireworks, vet visits, thunderstorms, etc.) and environmental changes.
The ingredients in Canine Calming work to maintain a steady heart rate, stabilize blood sugar and normalize the central nervous system. As a result, dogs develop a sense of wellbeing, a balanced mood and become more relaxed and less excitable.

HOW TO USE CANINE CALMING PASTE
Suggested Use: Refer to chart. Dose is determined according to dog’s temperament and energy level.
Administer 1 hour prior to activity. Begin with recommended dose. Add 2 cc every 60 minutes until desired effect is achieved.
Effects begin within 60 minutes after administration and last up to 6 hours. Monitor behavior and adjust dose as needed.

I have been using Perfect Prep for my horses for 2 years now and I am so impressed with the results. When I saw that there is a Perfect Prep canine I thought heck, why not try it. I have two small dogs 10-12lb each. Both love go on road trips but shake, whine, and wiggle the whole time. My older guy seems to really get anxious and pants the whole time as well. We did a 4 hour drive back to my parents and an hour prior to our departure I gave each dog about 8cc each. To my surprise they both licked it right up, no need to hide it in food or shove it down their throat. It's a thick greenish gel paste and would be easy to hide in soft food or a scoop of kibble but my VERY picky eaters did not even think twice so I was relived administration was easy. They both seemed pretty calm once we were in the car and on our way. They chilled out in their dog bed the whole trip! They did not seem sleepy just calm. I used this on the trip back home and it was equally effective. I'm very happy with this product and love that it is a good drug-free option to helping my dogs feel less anxious during trips.

Very good, my dog weighs 60 pounds and with this she calms down and sleeps very well
We have a GSP Puppy with a fractured Tibia. Even with a lot of tranq she was having a hard time staying settled and quiet. The PPP just took that edge off and allowed her brain to relax. Have already recommended to others.
We have an older retired racing greyhound and as he ages, his anxiety has gotten worse. We have tried everything from vet-recommended Benadryl to CBD to essential oils, and nothing has worked. Someone from our rescue group recommended the Canine Calming and we gave it a shot. It has been the only thing that has worked to help calm some anxiety for our baby.
I love this stuff, but more importantly, my dogs are CRAZY CRAZY for it. It works to take the edge off my GSD who has wicked separation anxiety. She is just a dog when I've given her the paste instead of being a lunatic. I had her on trazadone and this works well enough that I don't use the trazadone anymore. We have a very high strung female miniature Australian Shepherd. On days we can't run her enough to keep the energy down to a reasonable level, we give her 11 cc's of Perfect Prep PET. It has a very similar effect to 20 minutes of high intensity exercise and lasts about 6 hours. Great for when company comes over and we need well behaved dog. We will always have some on standby.
I gave 10cc’s of Perfect Prep PET Canine Calming paste to my Aussie (he’s 70 lbs) just before a storm was set to roll in. It definitely helped him! He usually pants really hard and has to be close to me. After a half hour he was panting on the floor and within another half hour he relaxed and went to sleep. It works!!
My dog Sonny, a Labrador Mix, loves Perfect Prep PET Calming Paste and so do I! Sonny is a rescue and has always had a problem being left alone in his crate, especially when traveling on the road to horse shows. I started giving him the dog calming paste and he is much more relaxed and happier in his crate. I couldn’t believe the difference!
We travel a lot and my pit mix always barks his head off at toll booths. After 10cc of Perfect Prep PET Calming paste we went through two toll booths with no barking whatsoever. I topped it off with another 6cc and the effects lasted for the entire trip. This made traveling much easier for both of us! Highly recommend!
