Why +TRF™ Is Essential For Soft Tissue Management

 

The long-held theory that soft tissue injuries in performance horses result from “one bad step” has been proven to be a misconception. Every day your equine athlete’s tendons and ligaments experience micro-injuries at the cellular level, which can accumulate until they eventually result in full-blown injury.

 

+TRF™ is the first product to combat this micro-damage resulting from daily work, and can help repair damage both before an injury occurs and during injury recovery.

HOW TO USE +TRF™

Targeted Support: Administer 4cc per 250 lbs. Feed AM and PM or as directed by your veterinarian. (For a 1000 lb horse, 1 feeding = 16cc.) Feed until horse returns to normal work. Reduce to maintenance level for continued support.

 

Maintenance Level: Administer 4cc per 250 lbs. Feed 1 to 2 times per day depending upon level of work and condition. Feed AM or PM with morning and/or evening feed. (For a 1000 lb horse, 1 feeding = 16cc.) Continue administration for maintenance.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND +TRF™

Tendon and ligament injury is the result of micro-events at the cellular level which conspire to create eventual acute debilitating conditions. Tenomatrix™ in +TRF™ contains ingredients that support hydration of soft tissue and may reduce the deleterious effect of inflammation, which may support the body’s natural healing process.

 

+TRF™ contains a proprietary blend of a synthetic molecule which mimics an endogenous chemokine used throughout the body to maintain cellular health and modify inflammation, and an organic molecule which has been scientifically shown to increase cross linking of collagen, which stabilizes the collagen matrix.

 

Fed during recovery as recommended, TRF™ can support the body's recovery and repair process. Clinical experience demonstrates that the healing process is more rapid, and resulting tissue may be more linear and less prone to re-injury.

 

Fed daily, +TRF™ can support the body’s natural response to the small regular doses of tendon damage, and may reduce the likelihood that they will accumulate to become a full blown injury.

    Wish I'd found this sooner

    My wife's horse, a hunter/jumper, unfortunately, had a very bad suspensory tear, and it was about 40% tear, and we did not use TRF. It took him almost a year in, in its entirety to get him back into the show ring. He eventually injured it again, of course. But, this second time, we discovered TRF and in doing that, the repair time was decreased and expedited the healing process by about 30-40%. It also made the healing process more proper. The horse since then has not re-injured and has been showing regularly. We have maintained him on this product ever since.

    Great for older horses

    Chronic hip/back pain

    My Arabian had back pain from the day I got him. Vets said lunge over poles. Was lame within a week. Had nuclear scintigraphy, lameness exams, muscle biopsy, SI joints, hocks, stifles injected. Meso therapy. Shockwave, Magnawave, red light. Three vet clinics, five chiropractors, equine physical therapist, osteopath and still no diagnosis or treatment. It was heartbreaking to see my beautiful horse lame & in pain everyday! Six month vet visit listed him as 3/5 in both back legs 10/6/2025. Searched tendon treatment on net & found TRF. Started 11/9/2025. Expected nothing; was just going through the motions. Vet returned on 11/24/2025 improved to 1/5& .5/5. By 12/12/2025 sound & no lameness since! After almost 3 years of no improvement or diagnosis this is unbelievable! I am hoping this continues & that I can ride him a little in the spring! Thank you Prefect Products!

    TRF Tendon Repair Formula

    I have a 21 yr. old Hanoverian with a Deep Digital Flexor Tendon tear. I tried many treatment, Stem Cell, PRP, and shockwave with no improvement.     I have been using the TRF formula for 6 months now trying to heal a Deep Digital tear. My vet has seen some positive healing in the tendon. I am planning to continue using TRF through my horses rehab and beyond.

    I used TRF with my last horse who had tendonitis in her superficial flexor tendon. It worked great she was back to work in 3 months. Our new horse tore his Deep Digital flexor tendon. The first thing I did after hearing the diagnosis was to purchase TRF.

    TRF Tendon Repair

    My ottb mare was off for over a year..... I did every injection out there, rest,etc.. the only thing that actually miraculously helped was TRF Tendon repair. Turned out to be a soft tissue injury in her front foot. She's been on TRF for 6 months now and is back in full work. Jumping as well! Staying sound!! I will continue to use TRF for the rest of her life. Couldn't be happier with the results. (at one point I thought I might have to put her down......or best be a pasture pet)
