Great new formula
Love the new formula....so much easier to administer. If you are a first time user, you will need to determine how long it takes for your horse to respond to the effects. My mare takes 2 hours so I plan accordingly.

I bought this for my Fjord who has show anxiety. When given Perfect Prep she was able to stay calm and focus on what her rider was asking of her. She was not spooky or overly quick over fences. She was still herself and had her "pony" moments but overall she was a rockstar and I couldn't have been happier with how the product worked. I was most impressed with the fact that it did not change who she is but simply gave her 12 year old rider the ability to ride her through her anxiety by giving her the focus she needed to do so. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely use it again!!
I bought this for my OTTB and it works. It makes him focus and keeps him level headed but still completely functional. I love it.
Took my gelding to a BIG show. He isn't the nervous type, but got a little worked up in his stall when his buddies left for their classes. Calmed down with this and a flake of hay. I used to use this on my ultra nervous horse (now retired) who would get terrible diarrhea, call, stall walk, spook, bolt, etc. at shows. This would soothe him enough to be rideable and chill the squirts.
Every time I use perfect prep my horse calms down quite a bit.
My TB is typical: goes to a new place, and he thinks we are back at the racetrack. He is spooky, nervous, and constantly neighing for his friends, making him unable to perform to his best ability. Decided to try this, gave him half a tube the morning of transportation, and BAM, he schooled like an old schoolmaster. Didn't even need to use anymore of it throughout shows because he stays calm days after the first dose. He was brave at the jumps and focused on me and not the scary pizza box on the side of the arena. Only neg. is that its very sticky, and if you don't get it all in their mouth, it will run and its a real pain trying to scrape it off their lips.
I bought this to help my neurotic Anglo/Arab chill in the trailer and to help with the first night stabling at a show. Works wonders...he now keeps eating and drinking!
This is a complete game changer! I used this along with the training day powder and the change in my gelding has been night and day. We usually have complete melt downs during the dressage phase (we both prefer the jumping phases) because he is high strung, overly alert and acting like we are about to go XC. He used to complete blow through all my aids and completely ignore me but after using this paste & training day powder, he is relaxed, focused and ready to work.
I bought this for shows and discovered that I don't need to use the whole tube. I use about 1/4th a tube and it does the trick perfectly. Plus, it lasts a lot longer that way. Bigger shows result in 1/2 a tube, but I've never used a full tube with my mare. Always will use it!!
