HOW TO USE PERFECT PREP EQ™ GOLD
ADMINISTER NIGHT BEFORE + MORNING OF EVENT
Suggested Use: For maximum effect administer 1/2 to 1 full tube (30cc to 60cc) the night before performance, and 1/2 to 1 full tube the morning of performance. Aim to time the last dose 3 to 4 hours prior to performance.
Repeat every 8 to 12 hours as needed. Effects are cumulative. First dose begins working at 3 hours with maximum effects at 6 hours after administration, continuing for up to 18 hours.

Tried the perfect prep paste on my palomino gelding One Lucky Blond while we were in Tulsa for The Palomino World Show. I was having a hard time getting him to focus and "chill" in the loud, busy, air conditioned arena. Tried it at the suggestion of the nice folks at McLellands Saddlery. What a difference it made. "Ed" won a world title that day in novice youth hunt seat equitation. Been using their paste, powder and sound and sane pellets ever since.
Great supplement to help manage focus and energy. Easy to administer, easy to time administration.
I use this in combination with Perfect Prep's Training Day powder and sometimes layer it with the Supreme paste but generaly alone. You have to experiment at home to see which of the pastes do the trick for each horse. Perfect Prep has a guide on their website showing how to use their calming products and how to layer them if necessary. I make sure I have this on hand for all serious events.
I use this in combination with Perfect Prep Training Day at shows with my gelding and it works really well for him. It keeps him focused without making him sleepy.
I used this for our first away horse show. I didn't know how he would do. I used this in the morning before he was trailered and he was great!
